Shenzhen Brokers & Agents Association (SZBAA) was founded on June 27, 2001, and is administrated by Shenzhen Administration Bureau of Industry and Commerce, SZBAA is an entity organized and operated on a basis of self-discipline, self-management, self-service and self-restraint. SZBAA’s mission is to help bring about success and prosperity of the industry of brokerage and agency by offering substantial guidelines and services as follows:
Self-Discipline: SZBAA abides by the laws and regulations of the state; coordinates the relationship between the members, assists the authorities in tackling the misconducts of the trade and works out a set of trade criteria and norms to promote a coordinated and healthy development of the industry.
Safeguard of Interests and Rights: Playing as the role of a bridge between trade and government, SZBAA will, on behalf of the interests of the trade, reflect their common concerns and demands and seek governmental assistance. A Risk Fund will be set up and managed by SZBAA to compensate the losses of brokers and agents resulted from their business failures.
Information Service: Professional journals and publications on qualification training and expertise will be published to cater for the needs. Commissioned by the members, SZBAA handles such affairs as application for qualification certificates and annual business examination. SZBAA also provides members with assistance in legal consultancy, appraisal of professional competence, and policy publicity.
Professional Training: In compliance with relevant rules and regulations on management of brokers and agents promulgated by the state, province and municipality, SZBAA will establish and improve in a planned manner a professional education system aiming at offering programs in basic training, professional training and continuous training.
Credit Management: SZBAA is working on the establishment of a database containing the complete information of the city’s brokers and agents in a bid to put trade credit under good management. SZBAA will publicize the names of those businesses and individuals who operate in a legal and standardized manner, eventually wiping out illegal brokerage and agency.
Professional Brokerage And Agency: In cooperation with relevant administrative agencies, SZBAA undertakes the task of certifying and rating of qualifications in various professions, thus serving members and safeguarding their interests.
External Exchanges: SZBAA does its best to supply members with the updated information on the industry both at home or abroad; promote active links with domestic and international businesses.
